A transcription is a typed record of speech from a video or audio file.
I provide high-quality transcriptions for a wide variety of clients from various industries including HR, legal, media, education, medical, politics and business.
I am a highly experienced transcriptionist and I produce accurate, high quality medical, legal and general transcriptions including interviews, investigations, focus groups, medical records, court cases and police interviews.
You can choose between two types of transcription – intelligent verbatim and full verbatim.
Intelligent verbatim is by far the most requested type. It includes all essential text and preserves the meaning of what is said but omits non-essential filler words such as ‘like’, ‘you know’, ‘uh huh’ et cetera.
Full verbatim captures every single word and utterance in the recording including ‘you know’, ‘like’, ‘ah’, ‘eh’, ‘um’, ‘uh huh’ et cetera. This type of transcription is rarely requested but is certainly available if required.

In recent years, there’s been a massive increase in online video content and it’s become increasingly more important to make that video content accessible to all. High quality closed captions enable people with hearing loss to engage fully with your content without missing out.
I produce closed captions in SRT format which is fully compatible with all modern video formats. You have the option to embed the SRT file yourself or I can send you the fully embedded video.

​Note-taking
Note-taking provides an accurate record of what is discussed at a meeting, interview or lecture. The note-taking process is similar to the transcription process, except the notes are typed live while the session (meeting/lecture/interview/investigation) is happening. When a recording isn’t appropriate due to GDPR or other restrictions, note-taking is the perfect solution.

I provide both in-person and virtual (Teams/Zoom/phone) note-taking services. I type at a very high speed to produce a comprehensive set of notes that you can retain as a record.
All notes are thoroughly proofread and emailed within 48 hours.
